Things to note
Monaro operates on the Block Model. There are six study blocks every year. In each block, you study two units. You must study at least four blocks per year to maintain satisfactory course progression. You can fast-track your degree by studying in five or six blocks per year.
Things to note
At MHE, Study Periods are now Terms. Most students follow the Term Calendar, with Dual and Tri Term options for specific subjects. See 2025 updates for details.

The Census Date is an important day. It is the last day on which you can finish the enrolment for the trimester. It is the due date for student fees. It is the last day you can withdraw from a unit without an academic penalty (that is, a Failure for that unit on your official results) and get a refund of your fees for that unit.
